About Us
Laurie is the founder of Simply Neat Ltd. and has over 25 years experience in organizing and managing people in the corporate world. In 2007, Laurie decided to take these skills and start her own company. She furthered her learning at QC Design School and trained in organizing to be recognized with a certificate through the IOP (International Organizing Professional). She also holds a certificate as a colour consultant and redesigner.
In February of 2011, Laurie joined the P.O.C. (Professional Organizers in Canada) where she currently holds a position on the executive board of the Calgary Chapter. In June of 2012 Laurie became a member of the ICD (Institute for challenging disorganization) formerly the NSGCD.
In addition she has teamed up with Empower Counseling Services Inc. and their founder Vicki Switzer. Together they continue to offer a series of workshops designed around life balance and organization.
Laurie also does residential organizing by assisting people in their homes to set up systems and gain control of their lives.
